Anxiety 101

Diane is a licensed professional counselor with over 25 years of clinical experience in both community mental health and private practice. She began her work in Anxiety during the early 90’s. She owns her own practice and specializes in grief, loss, anxiety and panic issues with young adults and adults through the generations.  

Diane currently provides Telehealth counseling sessions, where Brody, her adopted, 13-year-old Beagle-mix, is often asleep in the office, sending out healing vibes.

In this episode, Diane walks through the basics of anxiety management with an emphasis on physical wellness, breathing strategies, and mindfulness exercises to help calm anxiety symptoms and quiet anxious thoughts. She includes information that helps explain the science behind anxiety and helps the listener become their own anxiety expert!
